  • This scholarship was established in 2018. It is awarded to a student who has had the highest increase in GPA from freshman year to the current term. We commend this student for having the determination to work hard and create a positive future by valuing educational experiences.

  • Allison Dunn was a beloved principal at Logan High School for many years. To honor her, a scholarship was established to be awarded yearly to a Logan High School graduate. This scholarship is awarded to a student who loves the arts, values education, embraces diversity and provides service while exemplifying leadership. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.

  • Annelie Johnson was a beloved science teacher at Mount Logan Middle School .  This scholarship is awarded to a student considering a career in science education.  The student also must demonstrate academic achievement, community service and need.

  • The Betty Lucille Exum Scholarship was established by her two daughters, one of which works in the Logan City School District. She was a respected educator and administrator although she did not learn to read until she was in 5th grade.

    This scholarship is awarded to a first generation college student who has minority status and/or who has attended ESL/ALP classes. Additional preference will be given to students who have served as peer tutors or in the Best Buddies program while in high school.

    Applicants should describe how their world views have changed in the last four years and how significant adults have influenced that view within the essay portion of the application. Examples of how applicants have influenced those younger to do well in life should also be included.

  • For students who will be attending BTEC. Applicants will be required to have completed at least one course at BTEC while at Logan High as evidenced by student's transcript. Include program of study within the essay portion of the application.

  • The Dana Exum Memorial Scholarship was established by his two daughters, one of which works in the Logan City School District. He was a well known fast pitch softball pitcher who played well into his 60’s.

    This scholarship is awarded to a student who has played fast pitch softball during her high school career. Preference will be given to first generation seekers of higher education either at the college or vocational school level.

    Applicants should include any life lessons learned from playing fast pitch softball within the essay portion of the application.

  • For a student planning to attend Utah State University pursuing a degree in Business. Minimum GPA 3.0 ($2500)

  • For a student planning to attend Utah State University pursuing a degree in engineering. Strong consideration will be given to a student pursuing aeronautics. Minimum GPA 3.0 ($2500)

  • For a first generation college students who will be attending a four year college. Strong consideration given to applicants who have participated in a high school sport at the varsity level. Minimum GPA 3.0 ($5000)

  • This year, the Hoffman Scholarship Endowmnet was created with an original gift from the Harris’. Because of this generous endowment, many students will be able to continue their education for generations.  This year, two scholarships will be awarded.  One ($2000) to a student pursuing something in the medical field and one ($2000) to a student pursuing a degree in education. Strong consideration will be given to those who have made attendance a priority, demonstarted positive change while at Logan High, and demonstrated invovement during the high school experience.  Please use the essay porto of the application to share evidence.

  • The Logan Schools Foundation scholarship was established in 2021 using funds generated from fundraising events. This scholarship is open to all Logan High School graduating seniors seeking higher education opportunities. Strong consideration will be given to those who have made attendance a priority, demonstrated positive change while at Logan High, and demonstrated involvement during the high school experience (i.e. athletics, service, working while in high school) and how these have enhanced or contributed to the high school experience. Evidence of these experiences should be included within the essay portion of the application.

  • The Nelson Family including father Keith, and sons, Riley, DJ, and Chase Nelson have had a positive and longline impact on the Logan High Football program.  With the help of donors, they have established a scholarship to provide assistance to inspire and help a graduating Logan High Football student athlete who has lettered in football to further higher education aspirations.

  • This scholarship honors Regina Flammer Fairbourn who was a member of the class of 1958. This scholarship is awarded to a student considering a career in music, business education or education. The student should demonstrate service to the community.

  • In 1998, the Robert and Terri Harris Scholarship Endowment was created with an original gift from the Harris’. Because of this endowment, many students have been able to continue their education. This scholarship is awarded to a student with financial need – someone who would have difficulty pursuing their education without this financial assistance.  Recipients must also demonstrate unusual aptitude, ability, and/or interest in their chosen field of study, and they must have a history of service-oriented activities.

  • This scholarship was established in 2003 in honor of Dr. Ronald Peterson, who was a clinical psychologist and served on the Logan School Board for 29 years. This scholarship is awarded to a student with high achievement and aptitude, financial need, and who is attending Utah State University to study a “helping” profession, i.e., education, counseling, family life, etc.

  • Rulon Olsen was a former principal at Logan High School.  This scholarship is awarded to a first generation college student with strong academic aptitude and financial need.

  • Tami W. Pyfer has had an incredible impact upon education here in the Logan City School District, at Utah State University, and in the entire state of Utah. With the help of donors, a scholarship has been established to provide assistance to inspire and help a graduating Logan High Senior pursuing a degree in Special Education or other Education/Teaching field. It is intended for a service-oriented student who is active and engaged in the school and community, and who demonstrates leadership abilities.

  • The Logan High Peer Nominated Scholarship was established in 2018 and funded through various Foundation fundraisers. This scholarship is awarded to a LHS student who has been nominated by a peer and feels they have made a difference, overcome a challenge, or led by example.

  • The Logan High Teacher Nominated Scholarship was established in 2018 and funded through various Foundation fundraisers. This scholarship gives the staff at Logan High the opportunity to honor a student they feel has made a difference, overcome a challenge or led by example.
